TXDOT ferry Landing Maintenance

TG has worked for TXDOT all along the Texas Coast constructing, maintaining, and repairing different types of fender systems along with the Galveston-Bolivar Ferry Landing. The Ferry Landing work in particular has evolved from timber pile clusters to 60” and 72” diameter mono-piles with donut fenders. The donut fenders are wrapped in plastic composite timbers with UHMW facing. Work has also included the fabrication and installation of new ferry landing ramps as well as the improved fendering and mooring structures for the ferry boat work docks.
