INDUSTRIAL TERMINALS

Centered on a 95-acre stretch of waterfront adjacent to the Houston Ship Channel, Industrial Terminals is the largest project cargo port in the United States. The work consisted of both a dock expansion and rehabilitation of the existing facility, and was performed in phases to accommodate the docks ongoing operations.

The Industrial Terminals project included a variety of work both marine and civil. The marine work included approximately 400’ of combination wall (sheets and pipe pile), 100’ steel sheet piling, and mooring/ mono-pile. The landside work included over 500 auger cast pile, approximately 68,000 sf of concrete paving, crane rail, concrete core drilling 2’ in diameter up to 13’ thick, excavation of over 70,000 cy of material, and utility work (water, electrical, and storm pipe).
